To coincide with a company re-brand in 2004, Sainsbury's decided to enable 50 vehicles in the home delivery fleet with the Traxx™ system.
Three years on and Sainsbury's now have 100% of the home delivery fleet, some 1000 vehicles, enabled with the Traxx™ system. These vehicles play an important role in Sainsbury's communication strategy to expand their on-line shopping proposition to the consumer. Having established various on-line specific messages nationally, Sainsbury's intends to use the platform to explore other promotional opportunities within the business. What the client said:
